Clinical expertise

Specialized epilepsy and brain-mapping care

The program provides comprehensive neurology and epilepsy care together with advanced electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and functional-mapping expertise for the evaluation of drug-resistant epilepsy and complex neurological disease.

Established clinical services

Organized around the clinical question

01

Evaluation and Monitoring

Standard neurology and epilepsy care; epilepsy-surgery evaluation; long-term EEG and video-EEG; intracranial EEG/ECoG acquisition, post-processing, and interpretation; MEG; and MRI post-processing.

02

Functional and Network Mapping

Electrical cortical stimulation; evoked potentials; intraoperative monitoring; and multimodal integration for individualized functional localization.

03

Advanced Therapy and Surgical Planning

Multidisciplinary presurgical localization, integration of electrophysiology and imaging, and deep brain stimulation.

Advanced and investigational adjuncts

Research methods that may supplement standard evaluation

Research-stage approaches include HFO analysis, CCEP/SPEP mapping, Connectivity Index analysis, passive functional mapping, and other computational methods. When used through appropriate research protocols or as expert adjuncts, these methods supplement—and do not replace—standard presurgical evaluation, electrical cortical stimulation, imaging, anatomy, or clinical judgment.
